Rev. Jeffrey J. Rushing

Reverend Rushing is a native of Monroe, NC, the son of Jesse and Hazel Rushing. He is married to Janet Linker of Cabarrus County, NC. They have four children: Jessica Leigh, Carla Marie, Carrianne Brooke, and Jeffrey Blair. Jeffrey was licensed to preach in 1983. He is a graduate of Pfeiffer University, and Duke Divinity School. He was ordained as Deacon in the United Methodist Church in 1991, and an Elder in 1993.

He has served Fountain Hill-Mt.Moriah Church in Albemarle District of the Western NC Conference, First Street United Methodist Church, Albemarle, and presently serving Westford UMC, Concord , NC.

Jeff enjoys golf, softball, hunting, fishing, politics, and spectator sports.
