Beau Linker
Beau Linker came to Westford UMC in December of 2005. He has an extensive background in childcare. He was the childcare director of the Cannon Memorial YMCA in Kannapolis. He has also worked with several over night youth camps, most notably Black Lake Retreat Center in Asheboro for four summers as well as John's River Valley Camp in Collettesville. He loves the Lord and has a strong devotion to molding young people into disciples for God's kingdom. Beau has started a summer day camp program at Westford called "Camp Faith." He loves the kids at Westford and is very honored to be serving as their youth pastor.
Beau is engaged to Jennifer Pickler of Granite Quarry. They are still waiting to set a date for their wedding. Jennifer is a huge asset to the youth program. She is a dedicated follower of Christ and the youth adores her. Beau certainly could not do his job without her. In Beau's spare time he enjoys fishing, taking trips to the mountains, watching football and cheering on his beloved Western Carolina Catamounts.
